RECYCLING - BENCH PROJECT
We’re going to meet our quota! Keep bringing in your plastics! We need less than 75 lbs. of plastic to make our 500 pounds so that we can get another bench. If everyone continues to collect and bring in clean, label free plastic by May 15th we should be able to accomplish this goal. Many thanks to Cindy Eberwine who heads up this project and processes the many pounds of plastic for us.
A flier describing what plastic is eligible is available on the sanctuary entrance table.

Remember the BLESSING BOX
Let us continue to be “The Church” to those in need in our community. Items most needed are canned meats and peanut butter & jelly. (Please bring food items in plastic or aluminum containers. Paper or cardboard packaging tends to draw bugs into our Blessing Box.) You may place these items directly into the Blessing Box
in front of the annex as you are able.
Donations to "UMCOR"
If you are seeking a reliable and responsible service through which to donate to victims of storms, drought, fire, floods or other catastrophic conditions--remember UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). 100% of ALL UMCOR DONATIONS go to aid victims--not to cover administrative costs. You may make your donation check payable to "BGUMC" with "UMCOR" in the memo line. We will be sure to forward all of it to UMCOR.
