"Retired" Cell Phones Needed

The phones will be cleaned and will have 911 Emergency access installed on them and then distributed. A box will be placed in our Fellowship Hall to collect phones.

Consecrated Prayer Shawls are available for those in need of comfort and prayer.
Call the church office at (757) 538-8353 if you need to pick one up.
Remember the BLESSING BOX
Let us continue to be “The Church” to those in need in our community. Items most needed are canned meats and peanut butter & jelly. (Please bring food items in plastic or aluminum containers. Paper or cardboard packaging tends to draw bugs into our Blessing Box.) You may place these items directly into the Blessing Box
in front of the annex as you are able.
Donations to "UMCOR"
If you are seeking a reliable and responsible service through which to donate to victims of storms, drought, fire, floods or other catastrophic conditions--remember UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). 100% of ALL UMCOR DONATIONS go to aid victims--not to cover administrative costs. You may make your donation check payable to "BGUMC" with "UMCOR" in the memo line. We will be sure to forward all of it to UMCOR.
