Beech Grove United Methodist Church

Since its inception in 1871 on Bennett’s Pasture Road, Beech Grove United Methodist Church has been open to the various needs of the community it serves. The church has served the Driver community (in Suffolk, Va) for over a century. The current pastor is the Andrew Ware, who began serving, and has navigated the congregation through the COVID-19 Pandemic. The community has gone through many iterations and visions, but are currently guided by God’s calling to:

To be a visible church without walls; strengthening our local community by connecting resources to needs through partnerships.

Beech Grove’s hopes welcoming congregation offering the kind of acceptance that enables people to become who they are meant to be through the many opportunities the church provides. We offer worship every Sunday at 10:30 AM both virtually and in-person, with a Children’s Sunday School taking place during the service.

The hope of this newsletter is to help people in the Beech Grove community remain connected through regular announcements, celebrations, and reflections as we live and grow together in the vision God has placed before us.
